Free server terms

Effective date: September 17, 2026, Version 1.1

The ViziRealm free server lets you create and run a game server at no cost. It is subject to the specific conditions below, which apply in addition to the Terms of Service.

1. Automatic shutdown

A free server shuts down automatically once no player has been connected for 5 minutes. This keeps resources fairly shared between free server users. You can restart the server at any time from your panel.

2. Allocated resources

The free server runs on the same infrastructure as paid servers. Its resources are fixed and shown in the configurator when you create it:

  • A set amount of memory (RAM), shown in the configurator
  • A set share of processor (CPU), shown in the configurator
  • A set amount of storage for your server files

These resources are dedicated to your server within those limits. Maintenance or technical incidents may temporarily affect the service, as with any hosting.

3. Data retention

ViziRealm reserves the right to delete the data of a free server once the period shown at its creation has elapsed.

It is strongly recommended to regularly back up your worlds and data via SFTP or the panel file manager.

4. Server description set by us

In return for the service being free, your server description (MOTD), visible in the in-game server list, is set by ViziRealm and cannot be changed.

5. One free server per account

Each ViziRealm account is entitled to one free server only. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent this limit constitutes a violation of the Terms of Service and may result in suspension of all accounts involved.

6. Personal use only

The free server is for strictly personal, non-commercial use. You may not:

  • Use the free server for commercial purposes (selling ranks, paid access, etc.)
  • Use the free server to host a service intended for a commercial audience
  • Charge players for access to your game server
  • Use the free server as part of a paid professional activity

7. Support

Free server users get the same support as paying customers. ViziRealm will do its best to answer requests promptly.

8. ViziRealm's right to delete

ViziRealm reserves the right to suspend or delete a free server at any time, with or without notice, in particular in case of:

  • Violation of these conditions or the Terms of Service
  • Hosting of illegal content or content contrary to usage rules
  • Abusive use of resources to the detriment of other users
  • Activities likely to compromise the security of the infrastructure
  • ViziRealm's commercial decision (in this case, 7 days' notice will be given where possible)

9. Changes to conditions

ViziRealm may change these terms at any time. Substantial changes will be notified by email. Continuing to use the free server after notification constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

10. Moving to a paid configuration

At any time you can move to a paid configuration for more resources and without the free server's restrictions. Your data and your world are kept through the migration.
