Terms of service

Effective date: September 17, 2026, Version 1.1

1. Purpose and acceptance

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of the ViziRealm platform (vizirealm.com and panel.vizirealm.com), operated by Alessandro Ruggiero, hereinafter "ViziRealm".

By creating an account on ViziRealm, you unconditionally accept these Terms of Service. If you do not accept these terms, you must not use our services.

2. Service description

ViziRealm offers a game server hosting service accessible through an online management panel. The service includes:

  • Provision of computing resources (RAM, CPU, storage) to run a game server
  • A management panel to start, stop and configure your server
  • SFTP access for file management
  • A free subdomain (*.vizirealm.gg) for connecting to your server
  • For paid servers: availability 24/7
  • For the free server: a server subject to the restrictions described in the Free Server Terms

3. Access conditions

Use of ViziRealm is open to any natural or legal person with the legal capacity to enter into contracts. For minors, the consent of a parent or legal guardian is required.

Each user may only create one account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent service limits (particularly the free server) is prohibited.

4. User obligations

By using ViziRealm, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information when creating your account
  • Protect the confidentiality of your login credentials
  • Immediately notify ViziRealm of any unauthorized use of your account
  • Use the service in compliance with applicable Swiss, European and international laws
  • Not use the service for unlawful purposes or contrary to these Terms of Service

5. Prohibited content

It is strictly prohibited to host on ViziRealm servers:

  • Illegal, defamatory, obscene, racist or discriminatory content
  • Malware, viruses, attack scripts (DDoS, malicious bots)
  • Game servers intended for fraudulent activities (selling items for real money without authorization, phishing, etc.)
  • Unauthorized copies of software protected by copyright
  • Content violating third-party rights (intellectual property, privacy)
  • Game servers that breach the terms of service of the game's publisher
  • Any content aimed at compromising the security of ViziRealm infrastructure or third parties

6. Suspension and termination

ViziRealm reserves the right to suspend or terminate an account, without notice or refund, in case of:

  • Violation of these Terms of Service
  • Hosting of prohibited content
  • Activity likely to compromise the security or performance of the infrastructure
  • Fraud or attempted fraud
  • A court decision or an order from a competent authority

In the event of a serious breach of these terms, ViziRealm may permanently delete the server and its data. Non-payment follows a separate procedure, described in article 8 of the Terms of Sale.

7. Limitation of liability

ViziRealm is bound by an obligation of means and not of result. ViziRealm cannot be held responsible for:

  • Service interruptions due to force majeure events (network outage, natural disaster, external cyberattack)
  • Loss of data hosted on servers (backup recommended by the user)
  • Indirect damages, loss of profits or data resulting from use of the service
  • Content hosted by users on their game servers
  • Compatibility issues between mods, plugins or game versions

ViziRealm's liability is in any case limited to the amount actually paid by the user over the previous 12 months.

8. Service availability

ViziRealm commits to 99% availability per calendar month for paid servers. The free server carries no availability commitment.

What counts as downtime

Downtime is any period during which your server is stopped or unreachable from the internet for a reason attributable to ViziRealm: a failure of our infrastructure, network or management panel. Availability is measured per minute, by our monitoring, over the past calendar month.

What is not counted

  • Planned maintenance announced by email or on the status page at least 24 hours in advance, up to 4 hours per month
  • Interruptions caused by outside events: force majeure, a network carrier outage, a large-scale cyberattack
  • Outages caused by your own use: faulty configuration, mods or plugins, exhausting your allocated resources, stopping the server yourself
  • Suspensions for non-payment or for breach of these terms

Compensation

If your server's monthly availability falls below 99%, you may request a credit of 10% of your monthly subscription amount per full hour of downtime beyond the threshold, capped at 100% of that amount. Requests go to support within 30 days of the end of the month concerned, and the credit is applied to your next payment. Beyond 48 consecutive hours of downtime, you may request a prorated refund instead of a credit, under article 7 of the Terms of Sale.

9. Intellectual property

Content you host on your servers belongs to you. By using ViziRealm, you grant us a limited right to access that content solely for the purpose of providing the service (backup, support, security).

10. Changes to Terms of Service

ViziRealm may modify these Terms of Service at any time. Any substantial modification will be notified by email. Continued use of the service after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated version.

11. Applicable law and jurisdiction

These Terms of Service are governed by Swiss law. In case of dispute, the parties will endeavor to find an amicable solution. Failing that, the dispute will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the canton of Fribourg.
